Pride is something that an individual one feels on the inside. Pride has a double purpose in that it can make a person stuck up or it can boost their self-esteem when given compliments or when they achieve something. When examining the bad side of pride, we can see that it can hamper a person and we should ask how can we turn that kind of pride into something good? Maybe the reason someone is like that depends on the reason they became too prideful in the first place. Insecurity can make a person to become too prideful sometimes. Maybe making others to think something about themselves is significant because they don’t really feel it about one’s self. Many times, if the heart of insecurity is gotten to, it can alter prideful behavior into a more humble attitude. Change can come if we look within ourselves and confront our insecurities so that we can rid ourselves of fake pride and become better people.
